Mrs. Broderick earned her undergraduate degree in Public Administration and Economics from Western Michigan University in 1981, and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Michigan State University in 2005. Liz began her career in banking, as the Assistant Vice President of Public Funds, and worked with school districts throughout the state to help manage their investments. In 1997 she transitioned to education when she was hired by a small k-12 district in West Michigan to serve as Chief Finance Officer. Accustomed to wearing many hats, her responsibilities included Human Resources, Budget & Finance, Operation & Maintenance, and Supervisor of Transportation. Liz has always found working on the "business side" of education a fun, busy and challenging position, and looks forward to working with the faculty and staff of Cumberland County Schools.
Mrs. Brown assists new and existing employees with benefits administration and personnel records management. Danielle began her career with Cumberland County Schools in 2009, and joined the HR staff in 2014. Her experience and knowledge working with state medical and retirement plans as well as Board policy and procedures is an asset to the HR Department in serving our faculty and staff of Cumberland County Schools.
